What with summer approaching, it seems that festival announcements are the new black. Today it was the turn of Blissfields to announce their first wave of live acts set to perform at this year’s festival. After a very busy year last year that featured the likes of Bastille, Sam Smith, Mystery Jets, Bondax and London Grammar, it seemed neigh-on impossible for them to top it. Yet in a shocking twist, they have!
Leading the announcement are 2ManyDJs and Sleigh Bells, as well as pop-darling, Chloe Howl. They’ll be joined by Luke Sital Singh, Nick Mulvey, Tune-Yards and Wolf Alice, who will show why they were the most blogged about artist of 2013. Similarly, Snakehips will be serving cross-over dance with a late night slot. Blissfields will also bring you sets from breakthrough acts Dan Croll, Ry X, Famy and more.
Closing the festival will be Hercules and Love Affair and 2ManyDJs, while New York dance-rockers, Sleigh Bells, will top the Friday night. Keeping the festival spirit alive will be Dub Pistols, who are headlining the Thursday night, welcoming Gentlemans Dub Club, Melt Yourself Down, Monki and Gypsy Disco. With more acts to be announced, this year’s Blissfields sounds pretty amazing.
Blissfields 2014 takes place between the 3rd to 5th July 2014 at the Vicarage Farm, Hampshire.
